5 DIY Disney Halloween Decorations

I love dressing up my house for the holidays. Now that we are spending so much time at home, the urge to have a festive home is even greater! This year, I took on a few simple DIY Halloween decor projects and since we are all huge Disney fans around here, I decided to add a little Disney magic to our Halloween decorations!

Here are five simple make at home Disney-inspired Halloween decorations that you can make yourself. I made three of them and hope to make the other two in the future.

The Nightmare Before Christmas Candle Holders

You can create your own Nightmare Before Christmas-inspired candle holders with Jack, Sally, Zero, Oogie Boogie and Sandy Claws. The project is simple and all you need to do is print and cut out the templates and then attach them to your candle holder.

For my project, I was able to create candle holders featuring Jack and Oogie Boogie, using a glass vase and large jar that I had lying around! They look so cool lit up in the dark. I used flameless tealight candles to illuminate them.

Skeleton Mickey Pumpkin Carving Template

Disney Parks Blog and Disney Family have so many options for printable pumpkin carving templates. This year, I did something different and bought a carvable plastic pumpkin from Target. These carvable pumpkins are a great alternative to fresh pumpkins. You don’t have to worry about them rotting before Halloween night and you can reuse them year after year!

I also used a flameless LED tealight candle for the pumpkin, since I didn’t think using a real candle would be a good idea for a plastic pumpkin!

These adorable Mickey pumpkins would make the cutest pumpkin patch. They are made of salt dough and would look great on any Halloween table!

Mickey Bat Mobile

I added a few Mickey bats to our front entryway with this adorable project from Disney Family. These cutie bats are anything but scary!

I used materials we already had at home, including string, cardstock, and printer paper. My stick loving dog found the stick for me to complete my mobile.
